History of Chablis

SAINT-BRIS
Grape : Sauvignon.

Its nose very exuberant is characterized by a smell of crushed blackcurrent leaf and is dominated by aromas of exotic fruits freshly cut herbs or pepper according to the years.

It is a fresh and very fruity wine with a good aromatic persistency.

A wine to taste preferably from its earliest youth.

BOURGOGNE BLANC
Grape : Chardonnay.

This Bourgogne Blanc expresses all the fineness and charm of its wine type grown on the hillsides of Yonne : beautiful golden yellow colour, an elegant and complex nose in which aromas of fresh fruits and white flowers mix with a touch of vanilla. Its flavours countrebalance each other harmoniously with a good persistence.

A wine to taste at a temperature of 10-12°C within the two or three years following the harvest, and served with a pie, a pâté, ham cooked in a sauce or grilled fish...

BOURGOGNE ALIGOTE

Grape : Aligoté.

This Bourgogne Aligoté has a very beautiful golden bright colour with touch of green reflections. It is much appreciated because of its liveliness and lightness. Its fresh and clear nose with smoked touches recalls the grape, the green apple and also lemon.

A wine to drink young (three or four year old ) and fresh ( 9-10°C ). Serve it with delicatessen, seafood, small fish, andouillettes or dried cheeses.

Combined with a blackcurrent cream of Dijon, it makes up the genuine "Kir".
