Crémant de Bourgogne Rosé

Crémant de Bourgogne is a sparkling wine with an appellation d'origine contrôlée produced in the departments of Yonne, Côte-d'Or, Saône-et-Loire and Rhône. It is a regional AOC common to all the vineyards of Burgundy.

Terroir

Yonne Valley vineyard. Kimmeridgian and Portlandian limestone soil.

Vinification

Manual harvest in open boxes. The grapes are delicately pressed in a pneumatic press, thus allowing a slow diffusion of anthocyanins and obtaining this beautiful pink color. Racking and filtration.

Second fermentation in the bottle: addition of tirage liqueur and foaming on slats for at least 12 months. Stiring and disgorging with ice.

 

Tasting notes

Crémants de Bourgogne are light, brilliant and fruity, with a good vivacity tempered by the contribution of Pinot Noir wines.

 

Food & wine pairing

As an aperitif or throughout a meal. It is consumed plain or flavoured with crème de cassis, raspberry, blackberry.
