Burgundy Terroir

From Côte de Beaune to Côte de Nuits, you’ll find 3 different types of A.O.P. :

– Regional A.O.P.’s  (Red wines from Burgundy) have a yield that goes up to 55 hectoliters per hectare
– A.O.P. Villages and Premiers Crus (Nuits-Saint-Georges, Volnay,…) number at 40 hectoliters per hectare.
– Grands Crus A.O.P. (Charmes-Chambertin, Clos vougeot, …) have a yield that will rarely exceed 35 hectoliters per hectare.

The grape variety of this vineyard is unique, it is called Pinot Noir.
Maturation is obtained naturally in wooden barrels.
