Terroir
Planted halfway up the hillside, the village of Volnay benefits from ideal sunshine from the best 1er crus that surrounds it. This picturesque town nests high above the Burgundian plan on a small knoll just a few hundred yards away from its neighbour Pommard.

Vinification
Cold maceration for about 20 days then traditional fermentation.
Aging 12 to 18 months in oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Race, nobility, finesse, elegance and feminity. Its color, from tender vermeil to the deepest ruby, its delicate bouquet of red berries (raspberry, blackberry), violet, as well as the tannins from the sweetest to the most robust and elegant roundness places it among the best representatives of the Côte de Beaune.
